Lesson 8- Creation- – Our World- Humans V Animals- YEAR 9

In this weeks lesson… one lesson before half term we will be looking at Humans Versus Animals.

We will establish what religious attitude’s towards animals are. (Remember we are only covering Islam and Christianity.)

Year 9- review week- Our World

FINISH THIS FOR HOMEWORK- DUE IN ON YOUR NEXT RE LESSON.

This week your lesson will be reviewing all we have covered so far since the start of the year.

You will be completing an A3 revision sheet and using a variety of sources of information to complete your revision sheet to a very high standard such as:

  • Textbooks
  • Exercise books
  • Internet
  • Each other
  • Me

In order to do well in this task and therefore prepare for your WJEC examination, you must add the following for both Islam and Christianity:

  • What believers think
  • What non- believers think
  • What you think
  • Religious evidence- quotes
  • Keywords- look at your previous lessons/posts

The topics your revision sheet must contain information about are:

  • Creation – Islam and Christianity
  • Big Bang Theory
  • Purpose of Humans
  • Khalifah/Stewardiship

 

Extension:

Will be to complete exam style questions and look at mark schemes… (See post below.)

Lesson 6- Creation- Responsibility- Our World- YEAR 9

In this weeks lessons we will look at the Muslim term of Khalifah and the Christian term of Stewardiship.

We will discuss who is truly responsible for looking after the Earth.
